Job Description

Oaks Properties is hiring a Community Manager for Oaks Union Depot in Saint Paul, MN! Position Summary The Community Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the property, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, rent collection, and administrative duties. This role helps maintain occupancy goals, resident satisfaction, property standards, and financial performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and Fair Housing Laws. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily property operations, including leasing, maintenance, caretakers, grounds, and outside vendors. Manage leasing activities, including prospect inquiries, apartment tours, follow-up, application processing, and resident move-ins and move-outs. Coordinate maintenance, apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep to ensure Oaks standards are met. Maintain occupancy goals through effective leasing and resident retention efforts. Manage rent collection, monitor delinquent accounts, and assist with legal action as directed. Address resident concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with annual budgets, capital improvements, and property financial goals. Maintain accurate resident files, submit invoices through OneSite weekly, and audit package lockers weekly, where applicable. Conduct regular property walks and coordinate with approved vendors as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Fair Housing Laws. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President or Regional Property Manager. Qualifications 2+ years of prior Community Manager or Property Manager experience. RealPage/OneSite or similar property management software experience preferred. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
