Residential Cleaning Manager Kaitlyn's Cleaning Services is looking for a dependable, experienced, and hands-on Residential Cleaning Manager to join our team. This position combines field management responsibilities with hands-on residential cleaning . The Cleaning Manager will be responsible for training and overseeing cleaning employees, conducting inspections and walkthroughs, preparing quotes and invoices, and completing our more specialized cleaning services. This is a great fit for someone with previous management experience who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and takes pride in high-quality work. Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM The position will include a combination of managerial hours and scheduled cleaning jobs throughout the week. Responsibilities Management & Operations Train and onboard new cleaning employees on company procedures, expectations, and cleaning standards Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to cleaning staff Monitor employee performance and communicate concerns to management Conduct quality-control inspections of completed cleanings Ensure company cleaning standards are consistently followed Identify areas where employees need additional training or support Communicate openly and professionally with management regarding employee performance, property issues, and operational concerns Help maintain accountability and consistency across the cleaning team Maintain proper handling and organization of client keys/access information Help ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and available Cleaning & Field Responsibilities Serve as the primary cleaner for scheduled one-time cleaning projects Perform detailed deep cleans Complete move-in and move-out cleanings Complete post-construction and post-renovation cleanings Assist with recurring residential cleanings as assigned Perform high-quality, detailed cleaning according to company standards Conduct quality inspections of completed work Estimates & Administrative Responsibilities Conduct walkthroughs of homes and properties to assess cleaning needs Prepare cleaning quotes/estimates based on the scope of work Accurately invoice clients for completed services Maintain accurate records related to cleaning services Report client or property concerns to management Create and facilitate the signing of client contracts

Qualifications Required:

Previous management or supervisory experience Strong leadership and people-management skills Ability to communicate openly, honestly, and professionally Comfortable providing constructive feedback and holding employees accountable Strong attention to detail Excellent organization and time-management skills Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field Dependable and punctual Comfortable performing detailed residential cleaning Ability to learn and consistently enforce company cleaning standards Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between properties Physical Requirements This is a hands-on position. The Cleaning Manager must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, kneel, reach, and climb stairs Perform detailed residential cleaning tasks Lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can lead by example while maintaining high cleaning standards . The ideal candidate is an experienced manager who is also comfortable doing hands-on cleaning as a regular part of their position. This person should be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, confident in a leadership role, and willing to communicate openly about employee performance, cleaning quality, and any issues that arise in the field.
