Supports and supervises service and leadership activities to meet the needs of the community, WashU and the mission of the YMCA. Mentor and support student leaders as they develop leadership skills, navigate partnerships, recruit and support volunteers and lead community-based initiatives. Oversight of current community service programs, Student Executive Council, and administration support of social media outlets. Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations while collaborating closely with YMCA branches and university departments to advance shared goals, including participation in interdepartmental teams. Assists in the marketing and distribution of branch information, may organize and schedule program registrations. Serve as the backbone of community partnerships by ensuring sustainability and compliance, supporting annual MOUs, and facilitating regular check-ins through meetings, surveys, and emails. Develops and monitors program budget to meet fiscal objectives. Assists in YMCA fund raising activities and special events. May assist with Board of Advisors meetings. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent preferred. One to two years related experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age. Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
