May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Overview Join our team as an On-Site Property Manager, where you will be the heartbeat of our residential community. This energetic role requires a proactive leader who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service, managing property operations, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations. As the primary point of contact for residents and vendors, you will oversee leasing activities, property maintenance, and administrative functions to create a welcoming and well-maintained environment. Your expertise will help foster community engagement while ensuring operational excellence. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations to maximize occupancy and satisfaction. Oversee property maintenance and facilities management, coordinating repairs and inspections to uphold safety standards and property appearance. Administer leasing processes using Appfolio property management software, including data entry, filing, and contract management. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws through diligent record-keeping and legal administrative experience. Conduct tenant screenings, lease negotiations, and upselling of available units or amenities to enhance revenue streams. Handle conflict management with residents or vendors professionally while maintaining positive relationships through excellent customer service and phone etiquette. Maintain accurate records of contracts, legal documents, maintenance logs, and resident files; utilize Appfolio for work order tracking. Support community engagement initiatives by fostering a welcoming environment and promoting resident retention strategies. Experience Proven property management experience with a strong understanding of real estate administrative functions and office procedures. Familiarity with property leasing processes, including tenant screening, lease signing, and rent collection using Appfolio software. Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative practices. Experience in facilities management or property maintenance coordination; ability to oversee repairs and vendor relationships effectively. Excellent customer service skills complemented by conflict management abilities; adept at negotiation and contract review. Strong organizational skills with data entry proficiency, filing accuracy, and experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to demonstrate professional phone etiquette while handling inquiries from residents or vendors efficiently. $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
