A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Now Hiring Property Manager Meadows Apartments (36) Units Rural Development & Tax Credit 300 Rebecca Rd, Collins, MS 39428 Required 20-25 hours per week on property Starting at $17.00 / Hour We are looking to hire an Experienced Property Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for the daily operations of the property as well as reporting to their Regional Manager Providing excellent customer service to residents and staff at all times is a vital part of this position. The right Candidate will be able to provide exceptional leadership to our team, while also focusing on the financial performance of the property. The Property Manager is organized, has exceptional customer service skills, and is comfortable with creating and reviewing the property's budget and financial reports.
Property Manager Duties:
Collecting rent from residents; rent must be collected & deposited in a timely manner. Realpage Software; data is entered into the computer system and sent to the Corporate office Marketing for the property through; advertising, social media, networking, word of mouth, referrals, etc. Maintain Property Waiting List ; follow up with potential tenants , keep waiting list up to date. Maintain Occupancy Percentage ; the property will not operate with vacancies, we strive maintain 100% occupancy. Community Service ; work with local agencies that provide service for Seniors; work with Seniors to understand their needs. Maintain the Property's budget; review property expenditures original invoices are sent to the corporate office, copies are kept on site. Operate within the budget, property expenses should not exceed allowed budget amount. Other duties as may be assigned from time to time; must be flexible and able to prioritize according to the needs of the property.
Qualifications:
Previous tax credit or rural development experience is required. Computer Skills- Realpage experience preferred. Beginner experience with MS Office required. Must be able to work part-time hours.
