Job Description
Job Overview TMLSS Properties is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Leasing Specialist / Property Management Assistant to join our team serving the Pascagoula area. If you enjoy working with people, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you! This position plays a key role in leasing apartments, assisting with daily property operations, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents and prospective tenants. Duties Respond promptly to leasing inquiries by phone, email, text, and online leads Schedule and conduct apartment tours Process rental applications and verify required documentation Prepare leases, renewals, and move-in paperwork Assist with resident relations and customer service requests Coordinate with maintenance regarding work orders and unit readiness Maintain accurate tenant files and property records Assist with rent collections and resident communications Perform move-in and move-out inspections Help market available apartments through online listings and social media Complete other administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Previous leasing, property management, customer service, or office experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Excellent organizational and time-management skills Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with property management software (AppFolio preferred but not required) Ability to multitask and work independently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Competitive pay based on experience with opportunities for growth.
