Job Description

Position Description:
About us: Summerfield Property Management (SPM) is a growing property management firm dedicated to creating exceptional living experiences for our residents. We manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties, and as we expand, we're looking for talented, people-first professionals to help us raise the bar on quality and service.
What You'll Do:
Resident Experience Be the go-to person for resident concerns and requests, resolving them quickly to keep satisfaction high Greet prospective residents, lead community tours, and handle leasing duties from first contact to signed lease Answer incoming calls from prospective and current residents, vendors, and suppliers Distribute company and community-wide notices (weather alerts, emergencies, etc.) Community & Resident Engagement Design and run resident engagement initiatives — community events, promotions, newsletters, and more Use smart marketing strategies to attract and secure new residents Walk the property regularly, spot-check for litter or maintenance needs, and inspect move-outs and vacancies Operations & Reporting Keep resident records accurate and current — daily updates on rent, deposits, and application fees Issue notices when needed (late payments, evictions, returned checks) Track lease renewals, terminations, and move-out activity, reporting daily to the Community Director Support the Community Director in understanding financial goals and shaping budgets Stay current on Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
2+ years of residential community management experience (preferred) Familiarity with property-management platforms like Yardi, AvidXchange, NetVendor, and RentCafé (preferred) Comfort with Microsoft Office and general computer systems Valid driver's license and auto insurance (personal vehicle may be used occasionally) Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
