Givens Great Laurels (https://givensgreatlaurels.org/) in Waynesville, NC is looking for a Community Manager to oversee a multifamily property and provide professional, courteous service in the highest ethical manner. Customary duties in this role include supervising site staff, ensuring buildings and grounds are maintained, maximize quality service to residents, direct and coordinate leasing, and any other administrative activities associated with the property operations. What you'll do: Responsible for efforts around marketing and leasing units in a timely manner in order to maintain maximum occupancy Inspect vacant apartments on a daily basis to ensure no unauthorized/unreported occupancy, check rent-ready status, or identify apartment defects Oversee or perform all work to protect community assets and ensure that assigned property maintains high quality of livability Collaborate with Resident Services Coordinator, Community Nurse, volunteers/partners to ensure delivery of resident programs and support Work with Givens Affordable Communities leadership team to identify and schedule needed capital improvements for property Assist in the preparation of the annual property budget Ensure program compliance for tax credit, HUD & other programs through regular file audits, property inspection and timely reporting Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor What you'll need: Fair Housing and Section 504/ADA certification desired, or willing to obtain once hired High School or GED equivalent is required, while Bachelor's degree in Housing Management, Human Services, Aging Services, or related field preferred Must be proficient in a variety of computer software applications including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to learn and use other specialize computer software programs effectively (Voyager, etc.) Previous experience in property management or related customer service field preferred Compensation is $65,000 - $70,000 per year based on background and experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package Still curious about what Givens is all about?
