May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a 350+ unit property along with rehab processes, possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of property management, and the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and stakeholders. This role requires a proactive approach to managing properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations while we rebrand and re-position the property. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Negotiate lease agreements and renewals while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Oversight and coordinating rehab projects. Handle conflict management effectively to resolve tenant issues and disputes. Maintain accurate records through data entry and administrative tasks using property management software such as Yardi, One-site, Resman. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and property maintenance requirements. Implement upselling strategies to enhance tenant retention and satisfaction. Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders. Skills Strong negotiation skills with a solid understanding of real estate laws. Proficiency in conflict management techniques to address tenant concerns effectively. Experience in real estate administrative tasks, including data entry and record keeping. Familiarity with Resman or similar property management software is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
