The Campus Property Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of a portfolio of residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties. This includes ensuring high occupancy rates, managing tenant relations, maintaining the properties, and overseeing financial performance. The Property Manager will work closely with the maintenance team, leasing agents, and other staff to deliver exceptional service to tenants and property owners.Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenantsAddress and resolve tenant complaints and issues promptly Coordinate and oversee tenant move-ins and move-outsEnsure compliance with lease agreements and property rulesProperty Maintenance:
Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repairsConduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and complianceManage relationships with contractors and vendorsImplement preventive maintenance programsLeasing and Marketing:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new tenants Oversee the leasing process, including showing properties, screening applicants, and negotiating lease termsEnsure high occupancy rates and minimize vacancy periodsFinancial Management:
Prepare and manage annual budgets for each propertyMonitor and control operating expensesCollect rent and other fees from tenantsPrepare financial reports and statements for property ownersLegal Compliance:
Ensure properties comply with local, state, and federal regulationsHandle legal matters related to property management, including evictions and lease enforcementStay updated on industry regulations and best practicesTeam Management:
Supervise and provide leadership to property staff, including leasing agents and maintenance personnel Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunitiesFoster a positive and productive work environmentQualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property management or a related fieldSkills:
Strong knowledge of property management principles and practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to handle difficult situations and make sound decisions under pressureCertifications:
Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar certification preferredWorking Conditions:
May require occasional evening or weekend work to address emergencies or tenant needsMust have a valid drivers license and reliable transportationCompensation & Benefits DisclosureThe base pay range for this role is $104,000 per year. This range reflects a goodfaith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave.
