Job Description

Perry Reid Properties is seeking an energetic and dependable Assistant Property Manager to join our team in Hastings, NE. This position will assist with the day-to-day management and leasing activities for multiple apartment communities in the Hastings area. At Perry Reid Properties, we believe teamwork is essential to providing a great experience for both our residents and our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, personable, and ready to take an active role in keeping our communities running smoothly. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in property management, leasing, sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, are also preferred.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist the Property Manager with daily property operations Help maintain occupancy goals across multiple communities Respond to inquiries from prospective residents and provide timely follow-up Show available apartments and communities to prospective residents Assist applicants throughout the application and leasing process Collect application fees, security deposits, and other required documentation Communicate application status and coordinate move-in dates and times Work closely with maintenance staff to ensure apartments are ready for scheduled move-ins Maintain accurate and up-to-date listings of available apartments Track lease expiration dates and assist with renewals Assist with property marketing and advertising Perform general administrative duties and maintain organized resident and property files Maintain confidentiality of resident, applicant, and company information Follow Fair Housing requirements and company policies Assist with other property management duties as needed Be available to work occasional weekends as needed Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask Dependable, professional, and self-motivated Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Previous leasing, property management, sales, or customer service experience preferred General knowledge of Fair Housing requirements preferred If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a team, we would love to hear from you!
