What You'll Do Resident Care & Quality of Life You'll help ensure every resident receives exceptional, person-centered care while maintaining their dignity, independence, privacy, and choice.
You will:
Oversee resident services and individualized care/service plans. Coordinate admissions, move-ins, transfers, and discharges. Participate in or oversee resident assessments. Partner with residents, families, nursing staff, and healthcare providers. Coordinate services with physicians, pharmacies, hospice, home health, therapists, and other providers. Monitor changes in resident condition and ensure timely responses. Oversee medication management systems and regulatory requirements. Respond to resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion. Help ensure residents receive the appropriate level of care as their needs change. Lead the Residence You'll be the leader who helps bring everything together—from the front-line team to families, healthcare partners, and community resources.
You will:
Oversee day-to-day operations. Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, respect, and professionalism. Ensure staff understand expectations, policies, and resident rights. Maintain strong communication across departments. Make decisions, solve problems, and respond to operational challenges. Serve as a key representative of the residence. Build & Inspire Your Team Great resident care starts with a great team. You'll be responsible for: Helping to recruit and hiring team members. Orienting and training employees. Creating appropriate staffing coverage. Preparing schedules. Coaching and developing staff. Conducting performance evaluations. Addressing performance concerns and implementing corrective action when necessary. Promoting positive employee relations. Recognizing and developing strong performers. Creating a workplace where people want to stay and grow. Compliance, Safety & Readiness You'll help ensure our residence is always prepared and operating according to applicable regulations and company standards.
You will:
Maintain regulatory compliance and survey readiness. Oversee required resident and personnel documentation. Monitor incident reporting and follow-up. Ensure required reportable events are handled appropriately. Respond to allegations of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or mistreatment according to regulatory requirements. Oversee emergency preparedness and disaster planning. Support infection prevention and workplace safety. Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and business information. You will:
Build relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physicians, social workers, case managers, hospice agencies, and community organizations. Respond to prospective resident and family inquiries. Conduct welcoming and informative tours. Follow up with prospective residents and families. Participate in community outreach and relationship-building. Partner with Admissions & Marketing to support occupancy goals. Represent the residence positively throughout the community.
Qualifications:
Experience in assisted living, residential care, healthcare administration, or related field preferred Supervisory or management experience required Knowledge of 804 Residential Care Facility regulations and resident rights preferred.
