Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Self Storage Manager to lead our storage facility operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily property management, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the security and upkeep of the storage site. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong administrative skills, and demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. Duties Manage daily operations of the self-storage facility, including leasing, customer service, and administrative tasks Oversee lease or rental agreement management, ensuring compliance with legal standards such as landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Utilize property management tools like Yardi and OneSite to track occupancy, payments, and maintenance requests Conduct regular property inspections, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained Handle client communication via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism and courtesy Resolve conflicts effectively through negotiation and conflict management strategies while maintaining positive relationships with tenants Implement upselling techniques to maximize revenue through additional services like Section 8 housing programs or other leasing opportunities Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing programs Experience managing budgets, leasing processes, and property maintenance activities Excellent customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and client communication abilities Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and oversee daily operations effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, filing, reporting, and correspondence Background in legal administrative tasks or contracts management is highly desirable Ability to handle conflict resolution calmly while adhering to company policies and legal standards Facilities management experience including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) knowledge is a plus Join us as a Self Storage Manager where your leadership will ensure our facility operates smoothly while providing outstanding service to our clients.
