The Arc of Ocean County is searching for a compassionate and motivated Residential Program Supervisor - Assistant Manager to help lead one of our residential homes serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, you'll help create a safe, supportive environment where individuals can thrive while providing guidance, mentorship, and daily direction to Direct Support Professionals. Paid Training Included $$$ Begin Your Career with Paid On-the-Job Training! $$$ How You'll Make an Impact Provide Leadership Assist with overseeing the daily operation of a residential program and maintain continuity of services. Serve as a leadership resource for employees by providing coaching, direction, and problem-solving support. Assume operational responsibility during the Residential Program Manager's absence. Help coordinate staffing schedules and maintain appropriate coverage. Support Individuals Promote independence by assisting individuals in achieving personal goals and developing daily living skills. Encourage participation in employment, recreational activities, volunteer opportunities, and community involvement. Assist with implementing Individual Habilitation Plans while tracking progress toward established objectives. Support behavioral strategies that encourage growth, choice, and dignity. Promote Excellence Review documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate medical appointments and assist with oversight of medication documentation and health services. Help maintain compliance with agency standards and state regulations. Participate in licensing visits, audits, investigations, and quality improvement efforts. Administrative Responsibilities Assist with household purchasing, inventory, and budget monitoring. Complete reports, documentation, and administrative assignments in a timely manner. Maintain open communication with leadership while responding effectively to operational needs. Minimum of two years supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Valid New Jersey driver's license with no more than five motor vehicle points. Previous supervisory, mentoring, or leadership experience preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build strong working relationships while leading a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and adjust schedules when operational needs require. Ability to meet the physical requirements associated with residential services.
