Job Description

Affordable Housing Property Manager - LIHTC Camden, NJ 08104 $68,000-$75,000 annually | Full-Time | On-Site Are you an experienced Affordable Housing Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager ready for your next leadership opportunity? We are seeking a hands-on Property Manager with LIHTC experience to oversee the daily operations of an affordable multifamily community in Camden, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an affordable housing professional who understands compliance but also enjoys leading a team, building resident relationships, and taking ownership of overall property performance. LIHTC / Tax Credit experience is required. What You'll Do Oversee day-to-day operations of the apartment community Lead and support onsite office and maintenance team members Manage leasing, occupancy, renewals, rent collection, and delinquency Complete and/or oversee resident certifications and recertifications Maintain compliance with LIHTC and applicable affordable housing requirements Review property financials, invoices, budgets, and operating performance Coordinate maintenance priorities, inspections, vendors, and property needs Build positive resident relationships and resolve concerns professionally Maintain accurate resident and compliance documentation Ensure Fair Housing and company policies are consistently followed
What We're Looking For Required:
Hands-on LIHTC / Low-Income Housing Tax Credit experience Multifamily property management experience Knowledge of affordable housing certifications and recertifications Strong resident relations and customer service skills Experience with rent collection, delinquency, leasing, and property operations Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills We welcome applications from experienced Property Managers, Community Managers, Site Managers, and Assistant Property Managers with strong LIHTC experience who are ready to take the next step in their career. Experience with HUD, Section 8, HCV, HOME, or other affordable housing programs is a plus. Compensation $68,000-$75,000 annually , based on experience.
