Full Job Description Job Summary Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Resident Coordinator to join our multifamily management team. This role is pivotal in fostering positive tenant relationships, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of property management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing tenant needs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all tenant inquiries, concerns, and service requests. Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants to enhance retention and satisfaction. Conduct regular tenant check-ins and satisfaction surveys to address concerns proactively.
Service Coordination:
Process and track maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution and communication with tenants. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently. Coordinate move-in/move-out procedures, including inspections and walkthroughs.
Communication:
Draft and distribute tenant notices regarding property updates, policies, and community events. Mediate conflicts between tenants and address lease violations in a fair and professional manner. Educate tenants on lease terms, property rules, and available amenities.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate tenant records, including contact information, lease agreements, and service requests. Assist with lease renewals and ensure compliance with property management policies. Monitor rent collection and follow up on late payments in coordination with the management team.
Community Engagement:
Plan and execute tenant appreciation events and community-building initiatives. Actively promote property amenities and services to tenants. Solicit feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing tenant experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in tenant services, property management, or a related customer service role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with property management software (e.g. Yardi) is preferred. Knowledge of local housing laws and regulations is a plus.
