Job Description

Property & Operations Manager Location :
Lakewood, NJ (Supporting Ocean & Monmouth County properties)
Salary :
$75,000-$85,000 annually
Position Type :
Full-Time / Direct Hire Position Overview PrideStaff has partnered with a premier real estate development and management firm to recruit a highly motivated Property & Operations Manager . This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a portfolio consisting of commercial and industrial properties across Ocean and Monmouth counties. Working closely with Senior Property Management, tenants, vendors, and field maintenance staff, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high facility standards, and fostering positive tenant relationships. Key Responsibilities Property Operations & Compliance Assist with the comprehensive operational management across all assigned commercial and industrial properties. Coordinate vendor services, contractor activities, and on-site operational workflows to ensure seamless facility performance. Stay informed on relevant local, state, and safety regulations, ensuring properties remain fully compliant and implementing adjustments as needed. Tenant Relations & Administration Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, handling inquiries, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring high tenant satisfaction. Support general property administration, including report preparation, tenant communications, record-keeping, and organizing property files. Maintenance, Inspections & Emergency Response Prioritize, dispatch, and track maintenance service requests, collaborating with field staff and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality resolution. Conduct routine property and facility inspections to ensure physical assets are well-maintained, safe, and code-compliant; track and resolve identified deficiencies. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours emergency support to tenants, ensuring prompt resolution of urgent building issues.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in property or facilities management, ideally with commercial or industrial properties.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with core building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural) and general preventative maintenance standards.
Communication & Service:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach to interacting with tenants, vendors, and leadership.
Flexibility:
Ability and willingness to respond to after-hours emergency calls as required.
