ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

•9am-5pm We are seeking an experienced and reliable Property Manager to join our team for a 5-month temporary assignment in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, hands-on, and comfortable working directly with tenants, vendors, and maintenance staff.
Responsibilities include:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the property Responding to tenant questions, concerns, and requests Coordinating and following up on maintenance and repairs Assisting with rent collection and following up on outstanding balances Assisting with lease renewals and tenant documentation Communicating with vendors and contractors Conducting property inspections and reporting issues Maintaining accurate property records and reports Following up on open work orders and outstanding matters Providing excellent customer service to residents Working closely with the management office to ensure all issues are addressed promptly
Qualifications:
Previous property management experience Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Professional and courteous demeanor Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Compensation:
$24.00 per hour This is a temporary 5-month position with the possibility of consideration for future opportunities based on business needs and performance.
