Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Start date of the position is on or before Aug 1, 2026. Responsibilities will include by not limited to the following:
  • The commercial Property Manager position reports to the Vice President, Property Management.
  • This position is responsible for initiating and supervising the daily management, maintenance and associated construction of shopping centers, retail mixed use and office/ industrial managed real estate (which excludes multifamily apartments) within an assigned portfolio.
  • The position requires extensive experience in retail property management in addition to initiative, negotiating skills, verbal and written communication skills, accuracy and accountability, financial analysis, judgment, and confidentiality.
  • Essential tasks of the commercial Property Manager position include the ability to function at a high capacity within the context of a larger team, set goals and implement, support leasing initiatives, implement on-site maintenance services through third party vendors, preparation of operating budgets, approval of invoices and understanding of property's CAM reconciliation.
  • This position requires review, evaluation, and recommendations provided of all operations and standards for the Commercial Property portfolio assigned, including capital improvements, new concepts, procedures, and vendors/client relations.
  • This position has a detailed understanding of all tenants' Accounting, Maintenance, Leasing, and Construction.
  • This position supports and communicates with Accounting, Finance and Collections functions.
To be successful in this role, a Property Manager must possess a combination of technical and interpersonal skills that include: Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to manage shifting priorities, deadlines, and workloads quickly and frequently. Excellent ability to analyze complex situations and develop solutions timely. Strong computer skills including but not limited to use of spreadsheets, Yardi voyager, purchase/work order systems. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, including preparing technical reports. Availability and willingness to respond to occasional property emergencies as needed. Competitive salary commensurate with experience as well as benefits offered. Employment offers future advancement opportunities. Salary Range is $80,000-$90,000. :
Full-time :
An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Required experience is 7 years of commercial property management experience.
