Job Overview The Property Manager supports daily on-site operations. They manage leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations to help the property maintain occupancy goals and financial performance.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets, assists, and leases apartments to all prospective residents who enter the community. Lead prospects on tours of available units and common areas. Ensures appearance of the vacant apartments are acceptable for showing, and units are inspected and ready prior to new move-ins. Accepts and completes required application information from the prospective residents Creates all lease documents and facilitates getting all parties to sign where required Assists Property Manager in ensuring all property marketing is current, accurate, relevant and at its greatest effect Responsible for daily marketing efforts by responding to inquiries by phone, text and email Helps maintain a resident relations program Supervises maintenance staff, prioritizes work orders, unit turns, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination. Reviews, codes, and processes invoices, expenses, receipts, and vendor documentation. Monitors resident ledgers, delinquency, collections, and required notices. Reports property performance, maintenance issues, expenses, occupancy, and operational concerns to ownership. Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
Experience:
1 to 2 years of prior experience in property management, leasing, or real estate.
Software Skills:
Proficiency with property management platforms (such as Yardi, OneSite, RealPage, or RentCafe) preferred and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) required.
Soft Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and customer service abilities
Pay:
$21.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.
