This position oversees onsite operations, leasing activity, resident relations, team performance, financial administration, and compliance. The Community Manager will work closely with residents, onsite staff, vendors, and management to keep the community operating efficiently and maintain a positive resident experience. Your Day-to-Day Community Operations Manage the daily activities and priorities of the apartment community Monitor property conditions and coordinate corrective action when needed Oversee move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and other resident processes Address resident concerns and ensure appropriate follow-up Coordinate with maintenance personnel and outside vendors Keep property files, reports, and other records current and organized Leasing & Resident Retention Monitor leasing traffic, applications, occupancy, and overall leasing activity Support the leasing team with tours and prospect follow-up as needed Review leasing results and identify areas requiring additional attention Help maintain strong occupancy and resident retention Ensure prospects and residents receive professional and timely service Team Management Lead and support onsite employees Establish daily and weekly priorities for the team Train employees on company procedures and property operations Provide coaching and performance feedback Promote clear communication and teamwork Ensure staff members follow established policies and procedures Financial Administration Monitor rent collections, delinquent accounts, and outstanding balances Assist with preparation and management of property budgets Review operating expenses and vendor costs Support financial reporting and administrative requirements Monitor property performance against established goals Maintain accurate financial and operational documentation Compliance & Risk Management Follow applicable Fair Housing requirements Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations Ensure leasing and resident documentation is maintained properly Follow company policies and operating procedures Help maintain a safe environment for residents, employees, and visitors Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of multifamily property management experience Previous experience managing an apartment community Supervisory or team leadership experience Knowledge of apartment leasing and day-to-day property operations Working knowledge of Fair Housing requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization and time-management abilities Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently Valid driver's license Availability to work weekends when required by the community Additional Experience We Value Management experience with a 200+ unit community Luxury or high-end multifamily experience Familiarity with Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio, Entrata, or comparable property management systems Budget preparation and financial reporting experience Experience with leasing, occupancy, and resident retention initiatives Compensation & Benefits Starting at $35.00 per hour Performance-based bonuses and incentives Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Schedule & Work Environment Full-time On-site position Henderson, Nevada Weekend availability as required by the property Primarily onsite community management responsibilities About Horizon Management Horizon Management manages residential communities with a focus on consistent property operations, resident service, and strong onsite teams.
