Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Building Manager to oversee the daily operations and management of our residential properties. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of property facilities, maintaining excellent tenant relations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional customer service skills, and a comprehensive understanding of property management tools and legal frameworks. As Building Manager, you will be the key point of contact for tenants, vendors, and stakeholders, driving operational excellence and fostering a safe, welcoming environment. Responsibilities Oversee lease or rental agreement management, including lease renewals, tenant onboarding, and move-outs. Utilize property management software. Handle client communication with professionalism via phone etiquette, email correspondence, and in-person interactions to address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts effectively. Coordinate property maintenance activities by working with vendors and internal teams to schedule repairs and inspections. Maintain detailed records through data entry, filing systems, and accurate record keeping for audits or legal purposes. Resolve conflicts among tenants or stakeholders through negotiation skills while upholding policies and regulations. Support leasing efforts through upselling available units or amenities to prospective tenants while providing excellent customer service. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity using Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management tools. Demonstrated ability in conflict management, negotiation, and client communication within a property management setting. Experience with property maintenance coordination, facilities management, budgeting, and lease administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and correspondence. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and legal compliance documentation. Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Office experience combined with customer service skills necessary for engaging with tenants and vendors professionally.
