Job Description

The Assistant Property Manager provides operational and administrative support to the Property Management team in the day-to-day management of an assigned portfolio of commercial properties. This role serves as a key point of contact for tenants, vendors, and onsite personnel while helping ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards, work orders are completed efficiently, and property operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain positive tenant relationships by promptly addressing service requests and coordinating repairs, maintenance, and construction. Assist Property Managers with property inspections, compliance reporting, and corrective actions. Support daily property operations, vendor coordination, scheduling, and project oversight. Coordinate with building managers, maintenance teams, contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure timely completion of work. Manage work orders, service contracts, tenant communications, and property records. Assist with tenant move-ins, move-outs, and occupancy changes. Conduct property walkthroughs to identify maintenance, safety, and operational needs. Assist with invoice processing, accounts payable, budget tracking, and preventative maintenance programs. Support annual mall operating guideline distribution and collection. Provide general administrative support to the Property Management team and assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications An associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with at least three 3 year of relevant experience may also be considered in place of a degree. Working knowledge of commercial property management, lease administration, building operations, and applicable regulations. Experience coordinating maintenance, contractors, vendors, and property-related projects. Knowledge of operating and capital budgets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; property management software experience is a plus. Strong organizational, multitasking, time management, and attention-to-detail skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with tenants, vendors, contractors, onsite teams, and internal departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Pay:
$65,000.00 per year
