The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care and social work, with a passion for providing exceptional support to residents and staff alike. This role requires effective leadership skills, the ability to develop care plans, and a commitment to fostering a positive community atmosphere. Duties Supervise daily operations of the group home, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents, adapting as necessary to meet their evolving needs. Lead and mentor staff members, providing guidance on best practices in senior care and support. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to enhance resident care and well-being. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently while maintaining high-quality services. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and staff performance to ensure optimal care delivery. Facilitate training sessions for staff on relevant policies, procedures, and best practices in long-term care. Skills Proven experience in group home or senior care settings is essential. Strong knowledge of care plans and the ability to assess resident needs effectively. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial acumen in managing operational costs. Background in social work or related fields is highly desirable. Experience in home community care or nursing home environments is a plus. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.
