PROPERTY MANAGER/LEASING DIRECTOR

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to manage our beautiful apartment complex in Nanuet, NY. Qualified candidates should have market rate management experience as well as excellent sales, marketing, customer service and organizational skills. Ability to manage maintenance and contractors on site. Dynamic leasing experience a must. The Property Manager is fully accountable for all day-to-day property operations, overseeing and enhancing the value of the property. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, & have at least 4 years' experience in multifamily leasing and management. Reports to Regional Director Duties and responsibilities included but are not limited to: Emphasis on marketing, leasing and move ins Utilize all leasing CRM software to his full capability Maintain accurate records of all community transactions and submit on timely basis (rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-in/move-outs, etc.). Ensure that all rents and late fees/check charges are collected, posted and deposited in a timely manner. Generate necessary legal action, documents and process in accordance with State and Company guidelines. Ensure that A/P invoices are submitted to the corporate office for payment Ensure current resident files are properly maintained. Manage resident concerns and requests on timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction with management & develop resident retention programs. Create an activity calendar for resident events Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis. This requires regular community inspections and tours. Ensure that all service requests are recorded and communicated appropriately to maintenance. Skills Experience in property management software. Rent Manager experience a plus. Competence in personal computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as community software applications. Must work as a team player with on-site staff and act as the liaison to the corporate office.
