In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive patrols, surveillance, access control, and incident management. Your energetic approach will ensure the safety of residents, staff, and visitors while upholding the highest standards of security compliance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in a dynamic residential setting by utilizing your expertise in physical security and emergency response. Duties Conduct regular patrols of residential premises, common areas, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks. Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior promptly. Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for residents, visitors, contractors, and service personnel. Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing established procedures including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, disturbances, or accidents with clarity and accuracy. Perform background checks on new residents or service providers as part of the screening process to ensure community safety. Assist with conflict de-escalation and manage disputes professionally while maintaining a calm demeanor at all times. Experience Proven experience in security roles within residential communities or similar environments. Background in military service or law enforcement is highly desirable due to familiarity with emergency procedures and conflict management techniques. Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use is preferred to handle medical emergencies effectively. Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control technology, and manual handling procedures for heavy lifting or physical security tasks. Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security assessments while adhering to compliance regulations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents and visitors.
