Our established, 5.0-rated, woman-owned and Hispanic-owned salon offers a relaxing setting, a broad service menu, and a team that values quality work and attentive service. We're looking for an experienced nail technician who can handle appointments independently from day one. Repeat clients, walk-in traffic, and online booking through Fresha provide opportunities to develop a steady schedule and grow your clientele. Your work Provide classic and gel manicures and pedicures, acrylic full sets and fill-ins, shaping, repairs, and safe removal. Services also include UV gel fills, tips, extensions, overlays, full sets, French tips, chrome and cat-eye finishes, current nail-art techniques, and natural nail care. You'll consult with clients, recommend appropriate services, and set realistic expectations while delivering consistent results and keeping appointments on time.

Your responsibilities also include:

Creating a warm, professional experience that encourages repeat bookings. Sanitizing and disinfecting tools and preparing your workstation between clients in accordance with New York sanitation standards. Keeping products and work areas clean and organized. Recording services and managing appointments in Fresha. Supporting teammates during busy periods and maintaining a welcoming salon. Keeping up with products, techniques, trends, and safe service practices. Experience and qualifications At least two years of recent professional salon experience preferred. Strong acrylic and UV gel skills, with proficiency in gel manicures and pedicures required. A portfolio or professional social media account showing recent work. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and professional communication. Comfort working with a diverse clientele and contributing to a collaborative spa team. Availability for selected evenings and weekends; weekend availability is required. New York State Nail Specialty or Cosmetology License preferred. Schedule and compensation Approximately 20-30 hours per week, with flexible scheduling within salon hours.

Salon hours:

Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m

• 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m
• 5:30 p.m. $17
• 22 per hour based on experience and technical skill, plus commission and tips.
