Job Description

RISE is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1980 as Aid To The Developmentally Disabled (ADD) by family members who were concerned about the physical and emotional decline of patients compelled to live in crowded institutions. These family members believed that appropriate treatment and training in a warm, sheltered, homelike environment would enhance their physical and emotional growth. With the support, funding and licensing of New York State's Office of People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and the Office of Mental Health (OMH), ADD came to life. We are currently seeking a Residential Manager of our Cutchogue IRA. Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director and/or Program Coordinator, the Residential Manager will oversee and maintain successful operation of the Individualized Residential Alternative serving Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. The Residential Manager is expected to carry out responsibilities with the utmost professionalism, forward-thinking, and a positive role-model. The Residential manager will work alongside a Senior manager and be the two daily administrators of the program . This position would require flexibility with a schedule and also have on call responsibilities. The hours of the position would be based around a schedule of Tuesday-Saturday 12pm-8pm and as mentioned flexibility is key in this role.
Qualifications:
