Job Description

Our client, a well-established property management firm specializing in Homeowners Associations (HOAs), Cooperative Communities, and Condominium Associations, is seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential communities in Nassau County. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of approximately six residential properties while serving as the primary liaison between residents, Boards of Directors, Owners, vendors, and service providers.

  • Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring optimal property performance and resident satisfaction.
Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and compliance issues. Attend and actively participate in Board meetings, providing operational updates and recommendations. Meet directly with Boards of Directors to discuss community objectives, property performance, budgets, and ongoing projects. Coordinate maintenance activities, capital improvement projects, and vendor services. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements. Prepare, monitor, and administer property operating budgets. Ensure compliance with community governing documents, policies, and applicable regulations. Respond to and resolve resident, owner, and Board inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Maintain accurate property records, reports, and operational documentation. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient property management operations. Qualifications Prior experience managing residential communities, including HOAs, Cooperative Communities, and Condominium Associations is required. Proven experience overseeing multiple residential properties simultaneously. Strong understanding of property management operations, budgeting, vendor management, and resident relations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office applications. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between properties.
