Safe Children, Stable Families, Successful Lives At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services) , our mission is to protect, empower, and promote independence for at-risk children and families, as well as individuals with developmental disabilities, through high-quality community-based services. We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residence Manager to lead the daily operations of our Residence, a 24/7 residential program supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role, you'll provide leadership, ensure quality care, and foster a safe, supportive, and person-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the residence, ensuring compliance with CMCS and regulatory standards. Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Assistant Managers, and Shift Supervisors. Lead person-centered planning meetings and ensure implementation of Life Plans and Staff Action Plans. Accompany residents to medical appointments and ensure follow-up on care recommendations. Ensure residents receive support with daily living skills, community integration, and recreational activities. Maintain 24/7 staffing coverage, including on-call responsibilities and emergency response. Conduct regular staff meetings, shift observations, and performance evaluations. Monitor health and safety protocols, including medication administration and emergency drills. Manage household budgets, resident funds, and staff payroll documentation. Communicate regularly with families, care coordinators, and day programs.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in a human services field preferred. Minimum 3 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer applications.
Additional Requirements :
Ability to safely lift and assist up to 70 lbs, to support individuals' mobility, personal care, transfers, and emergency needs with care and dignity.
