Description Looking for work that matters? You just found it. North Shore Services is seeking a Front Line Supervisor to join our family-owned, people-focused team. Our story began in 1985 when our founders, two special education teachers, followed their purpose to make a difference in the lives of others. The vision of helping individuals achieve their greatest possible happiness and independence has grown into seven residential homes that are part of our community with caring staff available 24 hours a day. Throughout the years, we have become big enough to fulfill our vision, while staying small enough to hold onto our founding values. Our leadership doesn't manage from a distance - we are involved in the day-to-day so that we know our homes, our clients, their families, and our team. The Front Line Supervisor is the on-the-ground leader who keeps our homes running and our team supported. This role rotates daily between our residential sites to coach and develop Direct Support Professionals, build staff schedules, manage medications and client documentation, and make sure every home is safe, clean, and well-staffed. If you are hands-on, calm under pressure, and take pride in leading a team that changes lives, this is a role where your work is felt every single day. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations at group homes/shared living sites Supervise/train DSPs pn North Shore's procedures Manage DSP schedules and ensure appropriate staffing coverage across multiple locations Veryify proper documentation of services/individuals' financial records Share in on-call coverage - respond to calls, texts, and site emrgencies after hours and on some weekends. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 2+ years supervisory experience in an I/DD or residential setting; prior DSP experience required. Current Ohio
DODD DSP
credentials (First Aid, CPR, Medication Administration) or ability to obtain promptly. Valid Ohio driver license, clean record, and reliable vehicle; must pass BCI and registry checks. Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Anywhere, and scheduling softwares.
