If you're a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in running a high-performing community, we want to meet you! The Opportunity As Community Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operations, financial performance, leasing strategy, and team leadership for one or more communities—including lease-up properties. You'll be the go-to leader on site, balancing operational excellence with an exceptional resident experience. What You'll Do Financial & Business Operations Assist with annual budgeting and track financial performance Oversee rent collections, deposits, and reporting Prepare monthly variance reports and maintain receivables within company standards Leasing, Marketing & Resident Experience Drive leasing performance to achieve and exceed occupancy goals Lead marketing initiatives across digital and print platforms Conduct leasing meetings, outreach, and weekly market surveys Create resident retention programs and host community events Property Operations Perform daily property inspections and follow up on maintenance needs Manage unit turns, move-ins, and move-outs Ensure curb appeal, safety standards, and regulatory compliance Enforce lease agreements and community policies Leadership & Team Development Hire, train, supervise, and mentor leasing and maintenance teams Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations Maintain staffing schedules and uphold company standards What We're Looking For 3+ years of property management experience Proven leadership experience, including lease-ups Strong financial and budget management skills Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook Background in customer service, marketing, and vendor management
CAM, ARM
®, CAPS, or CPM® certifications a plus Physical & Work Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs On-site presence required; flexibility for weekends or after-hours needs Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties Why Metropolitan Holdings?
