Lead Plumber Pay:

EXPERIENCED SERVICE LEADER LOOKING FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE?
OR
A STRONG PLUMBER READY TO MAKE THE JUMP INTO MANAGEMENT?
Established Plumbing Company -- Dayton/Kettering, OH Whether you've already managed a team and want more ownership, or you're a top-performing plumber who's ready to step off the truck and start building something, this role has a path for both. We're a growing residential and commercial plumbing company looking for someone to lead our residential plumbing division. You'll start by running service calls on busy days alongside your team while building the systems, processes, and training programs that scale the division. The goal is a full transition into management as you prove you can operate at a high level. If you're already there, we'll move fast. If you're a strong plumber who's been thinking "I want to run this, not just do this," keep reading. What you'll do: Lead and train a small team of residential plumbers. Set the standard on service presentation, customer communication, upselling maintenance agreements, and asking for reviews. Build out and maintain our residential pricebook. We use a field service management platform and need someone comfortable setting up flat rate pricing, options, and discount structures. If you've done this before, great. If you haven't, but you're tech-savvy and willing to learn, we'll get you the support. Drive residential growth. Reviews, referrals, maintenance agreements, marketing initiatives. You'll own the residential numbers and have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. Manage scheduling, dispatching, and daily workflow for residential techs through our FSM platform. Own the customer experience. Handle callbacks, follow up on complaints, make sure every customer is happy before the job is closed. Run service calls as needed to support the team and stay connected to the work. What we're looking for: Licensed plumber with extensive residential service experience (5+ years preferred). Someone who wants to grow into management, or someone who's already there and wants more ownership. You want to build something, not just clock in and turn wrenches. Someone who has managed or trained other plumbers, even informally. Comfortable with technology. Experience with field service software is a plus but not required. We need someone who can learn software, build out a pricebook, and keep data clean, not someone who avoids the computer. Organized and process-driven. If you're the type who builds checklists, writes things down, and follows up, you'll do well here. Strong customer skills. Our reputation is everything. We need someone who represents the company well in people's homes. Self-starter. We'll give you the tools and support, but you need to take ownership and drive things forward without being chased.
