Macarthur Park is a family-oriented community with 85-units, blending Section 8 HUD and LIHTC housing. This is an exciting opportunity for a property management professional who is passionate about affordable housing, enjoys leading day-to-day operations, and is committed to providing exceptional service to residents. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Project-Based Section 8 and LIHTC programs, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Oversee the daily operations of the community while maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction. Manage annual, interim, move-in, and move-out certifications in compliance with Section 8 and LIHTC regulations. Maintain occupancy goals and support leasing efforts to achieve and sustain 100% occupancy. Calculate resident rents and household assets in accordance with the
HUD 4350.3
Handbook. Review applicant files to ensure eligibility and regulatory compliance. Run and review EIV reports in accordance with company policies. Identify income discrepancies and prepare repayment agreements when necessary. Prepare leases, certifications, and other required resident documentation. Ensure timely collection and deposit of resident payments. Conduct unit and property inspections to maintain community standards. Maintain accurate records and complete additional property management responsibilities as needed. What We're Looking For Experience managing affordable housing communities. Strong knowledge of Project-Based Section 8, Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), and LIHTC programs. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines. Positive attitude with a collaborative, customer-focused approach. Reliable transportation to the property. Proficiency with RealPage, OneSite, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel .
