Job Summary:

As Property Manager you will be responsible for a 74-unit Property's initial lease up, the operations, financial aspects and meeting the company's performance goals in those areas. You will build relationships with tenants, clients, and vendors to quickly solve problems as they arise and manage tenant and client satisfaction to ensure a high level of tenant retention

Duties:

Include the following but are not limited to; Respond to tenant needs and coordinate with staff to resolve problems. Anticipate and respond to owner's needs and concerns. Review and approve all accounts payable, ensuring accurate general ledger coding and property allocations. Monitor accounts receivable and ensure the timely collection of rent in accordance with lease terms and coordinate default proceedings. Research, bid, and supervise contracts and third-party vendor services. Perform regular inspections of the Property, make recommendations and work alongside maintenance team and clients to resolve issues. Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. Manage vendor/contractor relationships concerning work scheduling, billing, and certificates of insurance. Maintain advertisements and update unit availability on online and print platforms. Perform physical inspections of the property and verify the condition of vacant apartments. Perform evictions, utility cut-offs, and landlord collections as required on delinquent rentals.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in multifamily property management Developed supervisory and leadership skills. Experience in rent collection, G/L postings, daily deposits Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, including both employees and vendors. Solid experience with MS Office Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases
