Job Summary Seeking a Residential & Light Commercial Electric Service Technician / Department Manager to take ownership of our service operations in Central Ohio. In this dual field and management role, you won't just be running service calls—you will be the driving force building a modern, top-notch service division. You will handle diagnostic calls, estimate projects, manage dispatch calendars, and implement efficient processes to expand our service footprint.
Service Management & Leadership Take Charge of Department Growth:
Take full ownership of the service arm, setting standards for responsiveness, customer experience, and job completion.
Estimating & Quotes:
Conduct site visits or review incoming inquiries to price, scope, and create competitive, accurate service estimates.
Production & Scheduling:
Manage service dispatch, production calendars, and field scheduling using digital service management software.
Customer & Inspector Interaction:
Act as the primary technical point of contact for homeowners, commercial clients, and local municipal inspectors.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in residential and light commercial electrical service, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
Leadership Experience:
Management, supervisory, or lead technician experience preferred.
Tech-Savvy:
Experience operating service-oriented CRM/field management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber) and production dispatch calendars.
Estimating Capability:
Proven capability to price jobs accurately and communicate value directly to customers.
Leadership Mindset:
A proactive "take charge" attitude with strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills. $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
