May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Director to lead our senior living community leasing operation with positivity and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of leasing responsibilities, ensuring maximum occupancy, marketing within the local communities, and exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive team performance, foster strong client relationships, and optimize leasing processes using advanced property management tools and marketing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the growth and success of our property while maintaining a vibrant, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals across multiple properties. Manage and mentor colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment focused on high performance and professional growth. Oversee leasing and rental agreements, ensuring accuracy utilizing company software. Maintain strong client communication through excellent phone etiquette, conflict management, and upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities. Conduct regular property inspections related to property maintenance and facilities management to ensure optimal condition for tenants. Manage tenant relations by providing exceptional customer service, resolving conflicts promptly, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. Qualifications Experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on leasing operations a plus. Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and related legal frameworks. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to handle conflict management professionally. Prior experience working within senior living management companies or similar organizations is highly desirable. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client communication and relationship building. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in data entry, filing, and recordkeeping tasks.
