Assistant HOA Community Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an energetic self-starter to provide the additional capacity needed to manage communities effectively. The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for assisting the Community Manager and Accounting Department with the routine operations of the communities. A typical day would include monitoring maintenance activities, responding to resident concerns, participating in team meetings to prioritize daily/weekly/monthly activities, organizing and maintaining all community records including resident files, and general office duties. The Assistant Community Manager will also support our sister companies with office administrative tasks.
Essential Functions:
Community Management Provide a high standard of customer service to residents with a prompt, courteous response to all inquiries Responsible for maintaining up-to-date resident contact information for email communication Maintain all community management team data entry for accuracy within the community database Ensures all required daily, weekly, and monthly reports are complete, accurate, and on time Maintains a fundamental working knowledge of all governing documents, community guidelines, and policies and procedures Assist the Community Manager in the Architectural Review process by checking in owner applications, preparing meeting agendas, and processing response letters Community Compliance Enforce community guidelines and standards by regularly inspecting common areas of community meetings Prepare and distribute board packets including management reports and meeting agendas, attend business meetings of the Board, prepare minutes and action items general Office Duties Assist in managing the day-to-day operations at the community management office Performs other duties as assigned Participates in the organization of events and educational classes
Job Requirements:
2-5 years of community management or similar experience Demonstrated leadership ability, dedication to customer satisfaction Excellent communication skills, decision-making, and reasoning/conflict resolution skills required Proficient with computers and email communication Ability and willingness to learn
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
