Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Resident Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential property. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations to ensure high resident retention and satisfaction Oversee lease or rental agreement management using property management tools such as Yardi or OneSite, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to maintain safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the community Enforce Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws to ensure legal compliance and fair treatment of all residents Handle conflict management by mediating disputes between tenants or addressing complaints promptly with professionalism Supervise staff members, including training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team environment Maintain detailed records through data entry, filing systems, and property management software; prepare reports on occupancy rates, budgets, and maintenance issues Communicate effectively with residents via phone etiquette and client communication channels to address inquiries and upselling opportunities for additional services or units Assist in budgeting processes by monitoring expenses related to property management tools, maintenance supplies, and operational costs Ensure compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and Section 8 housing programs to support affordable housing initiatives Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; experience with property management companies preferred Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing programs Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment Exceptional customer service skills with effective negotiation abilities for lease agreements and conflict resolution Competence in budgeting, contract management, data entry, filing systems, and office procedures using Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management best practices Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette and client relationship management experience Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating vibrant communities where residents feel valued and cared for!
