Community Housing Manager Salary:
$5,600/month

Health, Dental, RX, Vision, Life Insurance, Vacation, Sick Leave, Holidays A mission‑driven housing organization is seeking a Community Housing Manager to oversee a small portfolio of affordable housing communities in the area. This role is ideal for someone who excels in structured operations, resident support, and compliance management across multiple funding programs. Role Summary The Community Housing Manager leads day‑to‑day operations for a group of affordable housing properties, ensuring smooth leasing, rent collection, inspections, resident communication, and coordination with maintenance and finance teams. The position also serves as the primary after‑hours contact for resident emergencies. Key Responsibilities Property Operations including leasing, rent posting, notices, inspections, and resident relations Maintenance Coordination with internal teams to ensure timely repairs and preventative upkeep Compliance Oversight across multiple affordable housing programs in partnership with a third‑party compliance firm Financial Management including invoice review, budget development, and monthly performance reporting Resident Support including service referrals and community room coordination Qualifications 2+ years of residential property management Experience with affordable housing programs and compliance documentation Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain professionalism Physical ability to walk properties, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs Work Environment Office and on‑site residential property settings Indoor/outdoor exposure with occasional inclement weather Requirements Background check Pre‑employment drug screening Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
