Resident ManagerLead the Home. Support the Residents. Make an Impact. We're looking for a responsible, dependable, and compassionate Resident Manager to help lead our adult foster home and create a safe, supportive environment for our residents. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can manage staff, support residents, handle challenging situations, and keep the home running smoothly. What You'll Do Supervise and support caregivers to ensure quality resident care Coordinate daily operations and staffing Support resident intake, care planning, documentation, and records Monitor resident health, safety, behavior, and overall well-being Administer medications when properly trained and authorized Respond calmly to emergencies, behavioral concerns, and conflicts Complete shift notes, incident reports, medication documentation, and other required records Communicate with residents, families, healthcare providers, case managers, and outside agencies Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming home Ensure staff follow company policies, resident rights, care plans, and Oregon requirements Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age Pass required Oregon background check Reliable transportation Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Previous caregiving, supervisory, behavioral health, or adult foster home experience preferred Ability to remain calm during emergencies and challenging behaviors Ability to work independently and supervise staff Must be able to complete and maintain required Oregon AFH training Required Oregon AFH Training The Resident Manager must complete applicable Oregon APD Adult Foster Home training, including: CPR & First Aid with an in-person skills component Ensuring Quality Care (EQC) Essentials Home & Community-Based Services (HCBS) / Individually-Based Limitations (IBL) Pre-Service Dementia Care Training Providing Inclusive Care Training Caregiver/Resident Manager Orientation Caregiver Preparatory Training Workbook Fire & Life Safety Six Rights of Safe Medication Administration and required competency/training 12 hours of department-approved continuing education annually Maintain required CPR/First Aid certification and other ongoing training EQC Essentials Requirement EQC Essentials certification is specifically required for APD Resident Managers. Training is available for candidates who are unable to demonstrate or provide proof of this qualification. Candidates will have 3 weeks to complete the required training and obtain certification. Full-Time / As Scheduled, five days per week. This is a LIVE-IN position requiring the employee to remain on-site for the full 24-hour live-in period.
