ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Partnerships (30%) Establishes and maintains partnerships with local community organizations and resources, including collaborating in a professional manner. Serves as the point of accountability and decision-making for staff and community inquiries related to the program. Facilitates outreach opportunities and coordinates partnerships to increase community awareness and participation at the recovery community center. Represents 4D in community and public discussions, forums, and in planning and committee setting as directed by supervisor. Works with social, civic and local organizations to develop partnerships, where appropriate, to develop and/or improve culturally specific services. Operations Management (20%) Maintains the facilities and serves as the emergency contact for the building. Coordinates coverage and/or performs duties in the absence of staff members. Manages logistical aspects of daily operations including scheduling of community center's activities, events, and meetings. Program Management & Oversight (20%) Participate in program development and improvement efforts. Maintains and monitors documentation standards, working closely with mentors to ensure same day documentation is complete. Performs various tasks to ensure contract compliance, quality assurance, accurate data collection/reporting, ethical practice, and effective operations, including special projects, as assigned. Personnel Management (30%) Interview and make recommendations for hiring staff within the department purview or as requested. Onboard, train, and evaluate staff performance. Report poor staff performance to the direct supervisor and conduct or support corrective actions. Implement employee improvement plans as needed. Foster an environment of teamwork and resolve issues through effective leadership. Supervise staff of other programs and projects assigned. Conduct executive program evaluation as directed. Remain educated on best practices and laws regarding the provision of services and train staff accordingly. Ensure the program abides by policies and procedures, confidentiality laws, professional boundaries, peer support principles, and relevant federal/state regulations and standards.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and prepare various reports for the Executive Director. Attend supervision, team, and agency meetings as directed. This position may require handling and disposal of needles as part of clean-up duties, necessitating adherence to proper safety protocols to mitigate potential risks and ensure a safe working environment. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skilled with Conflict Management. You must possess basic essential skills related to de-escalation and conflict resolution. With a community center open to all individuals who want a safe environment, this position requires managing and overseeing all interactions between clients/community members and navigating conflict in a safe and restorative manner. Service. You must support an organizational culture that reflects the value placed on high quality client services and inter-departmental collaboration, including maintaining confidentiality and supporting a trauma-informed, holistic service approach.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
This position typically requires a High School Diploma/GED. This position requires reliable transportation AND maintaining a valid driver's license for state of residency and a driving record permitting coverage under the corporate liability policy. If driving a personal vehicle for work purposes must also have and maintain personal auto liability coverage. All employees driving for work purposes, regardless of whether driving a personal or agency vehicle, must complete the agency's driving approval process before they drive for work. At least one year of supervisory work experience. At least two years of work experience related to Substance Use Disorder services. Must be a Certified Recovery Mentor and able to obtain CRM II within 90 days of hire. Experience collaborating with community partners to identify shortcomings in the organization and in building partnerships to improve overall client outcomes. Knowledge of community resources and referral processes for basic needs, crisis intervention, recovery support, employment, and medical and mental health. Experience working with minority communities, especially transition age youth demographics, and knowledge of the current disparities that certain communities of service users may face more broadly in society, required. Ability to work independently and as a team player, and especially as a team leader. Able to establish and maintain professional boundaries while providing supportive services and building trusting relationships with community partners, program participants, and staff. Excellent communication, trauma-informed approach and conflict resolution skills. Well-developed documentation skills, attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality management; ability to write accurate and concise reports while meeting tight deadlines. Functional ability with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, GMail, JotForm, and Microsoft Suites. Must be dependable, flexible and punctual, and exhibit strong time management skills. Able to clearly articulate information to people of varying cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds. Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively both orally and in writing. Able to problem solve and develop creative approaches.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least two years of supervisory work experience. Supervisory experience with peer-delivered recovery services. Familiarity with QPR and crisis intervention.
