Description Join our amazing team as a Residential Manager (RM)! At EHCA, we assist people with disabilities to live rich and fulfilling lives. We provide compassionate, therapeutic, and medical support to individuals of all ages and all levels of disability while enabling them to live with purpose and dignity. We support each person in having the opportunity to make choices and contribute to their daily lifestyle with quality caregivers. We are looking for enthusiastic leaders with a strong commitment to supporting others and a passion for their work. This position oversees day-to-day group home operations and coaches the Direct Support Professionals (DPS) assigned to the group home. Our Residential Managers benefit from working as a team with Direct Support Professionals, their peers, and other agency leaders. This position requires a flexible schedule based on operational needs. The Residential Manager primarily works 1st- and 2nd-shifts. They may occasionally need to work 3rd shift. Minimum base rate, $20.50/hour. Final compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Candidates should have:

Strong supervisory skills with an emphasis on coaching and training staff.

Strong organizational skills to manage the day-to-day operations of the group home with an emphasis on scheduling, agency regulations, policies, procedures, and documentation.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize.

Effective communication skills.

Duties include:
  • Creating daily duty sheets, ordering supplies, completing assigned reports, and conducting house meetings. Managing and maintaining resident rep payee checking accounts, resident petty cash accounts, and the House petty cash account.
  • Providing input and assisting in planning and guiding each individual's educational, social, recreational, work, and other activities.
  • Communicating routinely with families.
  • Attending BRC and Psych Review for the individuals who reside in the home. Attending the Individual Support Plan (ISP) meetings and assisting with writing individualized goals. Feeding, bathing, dressing, and providing personal care for individuals.
  • Transporting individuals when needed. Conducting fire drills in the group home per regulation. Benefits for Residential Managers, 40 HPW (hours per week) position: All positions are eligible for matching 401K

The successful applicant will meet these qualifications: Associate's degree in business or related field and one (1) year of related experience or a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) with two (2) years of direct care experience in an ID agency or equivalent.

Minimal supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

Above-average verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally communicate with others.

Working knowledge of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet, and other agency-related applications. Summary There is no remote option for this position. EOE #IND
