Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Commercial Property Manager Trone Rental Properties, LLC is a privately owned real estate organization with a diverse portfolio of commercial shopping centers, residential communities, and storage facilities. We operate with a fully staffed, in-house service department—including electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, lawn-care crews, and snow-removal teams—allowing us to maintain our properties efficiently and to a high standard. Our company is growing, and we are committed to delivering exceptional service, strong property performance, and long-term value across all assets. We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Property Manager to oversee the operational, financial, and leasing functions of our portfolio. This role requires a strategic leader with strong commercial leasing experience, skilled contract negotiation, and the ability to manage multiple property types simultaneously. The ideal candidate is proactive, personable, highly organized, and excels in a fast-paced environment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring our properties operate smoothly, tenants are supported, and our assets continue to perform at an exceptional level. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee operations for a portfolio of commercial shopping centers.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate property managers, maintenance staff, and service technicians across multiple disciplines.
  • Collaborate closely with the in-house service departments (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lawn care, and snow removal) to ensure timely and cost-effective property maintenance.
  • Manage commercial leasing activity, including showing spaces, negotiating lease terms, and preparing LOIs.
  • Develop and oversee annual budgets, financial reporting, CAM reconciliations, and expense management.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and service agreements while ensuring cost efficiency and quality performance.
  • Maintain strong tenant relationships and support high tenant retention across all property types.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects, preventative maintenance programs, and long-term property planning.
  • Identify process improvements, operational efficiencies, and opportunities to enhance property performance.
Qualifications 3+ years of property management experience in commercial and/or mixed portfolios. Strong commercial leasing experience, including negotiating leases and contracts. Proven leadership ability with experience managing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; personable and professional. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.
