Job Overview We are seeking a responsible and hard-working Leasing Assistant to be a vital part of our leasing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, an eye for detail and a desire for a wide variety of responsibilities. A background in property management or customer service is helpful but not necessary. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the Leasing Manager with a wide variety of needs Take high-quality photos of properties Edit and enhance photos Create marketing materials for listings Assist with the screening of tenant prospects Assist with lease and renewal preparation Review and execute lease contracts with tenants Assist with and perform property tours Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current tenants while addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Conduct property inspections as needed to ensure maintenance standards are met and coordinate necessary repairs. Develop marketing strategies to promote available units, including upselling features to potential tenants. Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, contracts, and tenant communications. Collaborate with facilities management to address maintenance issues effectively. Skills Proficient with eXcel or Google Sheets Experience with property management software is a plus but not necessary Strong understanding technology and cloud applications (quick learner) Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Negotiation skills for lease agreements and conflict resolution Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage relationships professionally. Background in real estate administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and office experience a plus. Effective phone etiquette for communication with clients and vendors. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and familiarity with fair housing regulations
•This position will require on-site visits within our portfolio. The Company will reimburse for gas mileage.

Pay:
$25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
