A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Role:
A strategic mindset, proactive approach, and consistent track record of anticipating and resolving operational challenges. Exceptional ability to organize priorities, delegate effectively, and lead teams confidently through change.
What You'll Do:
Strategically Oversee Owner Relationships & Portfolio Performance Serve as the trusted advisor and primary contact for property owners. Anticipate and address risks proactively, aligning property performance with owner goals. Lead structured, data-informed portfolio reviews to optimize long-term outcomes. Ensure Compliance & Minimize Risk Lead resolution of escalated tenant matters, applying a methodical, solution-oriented approach. Prepare legal documentation and represent owners strategically in eviction processes. Manage compliance proactively, ensuring all rental registrations, permits, and insurance requirements are meticulously maintained. Operational Leadership & Process Optimization Drive collaboration and accountability across leasing, maintenance, and administrative teams. Identify, develop, and implement improvements in workflows, technology, and systems. Perform targeted property inspections and resolve operational challenges efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the Pittsburgh area. Real Estate License required. Familiarity with AppFolio or similar property management platforms preferred. Proven leadership, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
