Join a team of professionals dedicated to serving adults with IDD. At Life's New Beginning our goal is simple: Serve better tomorrow than we served today. Life's New Beginning is a non-profit agency providing person centered services to individuals that are dual diagnosed with an intellectual disorder and mental health disorder. This is achieved through innovative techniques, teaching/mentoring individuals how to live their best life and providing daily support. LNB is currently seeking Area Supervisors. The Area Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of a set of residential group homes. The job location is at the group homes (not an office setting). Responsibilities include but are not limited to quality management, staff training and mentoring, location oversight, and any tasks that would contribute positively to services. Managing/training direct support professionals (DSP), facilitating team meetings, identifying and reporting mental health symptoms and behavior(s) of concern, working hours necessary to meet the needs of the individuals, communicate effectively with DSPs, management, family and other professionals such as doctors, psychiatrists, etc. Managers are on-call on a rotating basis. This position is a full-time salaried position. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday and includes both day and evening hours.

Candidate must also display positive leadership skills including professional courage. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older, possess either a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and valid driver's license. Candidates must have at least one year experience working with individuals with an intellectual disability and/or a mental health disorder. Supervisory/ management experience required . There will be training requirements to be met to maintain this position.

Founded in 2015, Life's New Beginning is a non-profit agency in York, PA providing services and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. LNB provides person-centered services to individuals with a primary diagnosis of an intellectual disability both in residential homes (owned and operated by LNB) and in the community (Companion and CPS Program). LNB adheres to trauma informed care practices.
