Position Description:
The Community Manager fully owns the relationship with each association's board of directors, supervising the operation and administration of the Association in accordance with the management agreement and the Association's Governing Documents.
Other Requirements:
Ideal candidates have great people and conflict management skills, are highly organized, and can write and speak professionally and clearly. Candidates need to own a reliable vehicle and cell phone to be able to work from home and on-site.
Job Responsibilities:
Effectively utilize Community Management tools and practices such as community management software, annual calendar, action item list, resolution worksheets, timed agendas, RFP matrix, annual operating budget, etc. Accurately track and manage service requests and work orders. Review monthly financial reports and report variances to the Board. Prepare monthly management report and board packet and deliver in accordance with standards. Provide and/or oversee recommendations to the Association Board of Directors and committees regarding major capital expenditures as required to maintain the desired community appearance and operation. Monitor delinquency rates and the collections process for the portfolio. Assist Boards with the enforcement of each association's governing documents and the rules and regulations. Attend Board meetings per the management agreement and community events as needed. This will require some evening work throughout each month. Prepare Community Notices and correspondence in accordance with the Governing Documents. Ensure the Board of Directors is aware of legal actions involving the Association. Assist the Board of Directors and architectural review committee with the architectural review process and/or routine inspections as necessary. Responsible for routine and special project vendor management, including procurement and vendor performance evaluation as contracted. Coordinate and/or oversee inspection of building facilities and/or common areas, and arrange appropriate follow-up actions as required.
Compensation:
W-2 starting salary of no less than $65,000 a year for the right candidate and DOE. In addition to salary, total compensation includes company-paid medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid vacation, and 401K match.
Location:
Office located in Lynnwood, WA, but work is 100% remote working from home (80%) or onsite at associations managed (20%). Must be located in Puget Sound.
