A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play an essential role in helping children achieve their academic and social goals through expert evaluation and tailored therapy. Your expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, including both direct and teletherapy, will make a powerful impact for students with varied needs. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible WA state SLP licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged Experience working with pediatric populations and within school settings Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and digital documentation Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver evidence-based therapy in-person and via teletherapy Keep detailed and confidential records of student progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to optimize outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, offer guidance on speech and language interventions Advocate for student needs and provide staff training or resources as needed
