About Prosper Management Group Prosper Management Group is a residential property management company serving owners and residents across Charleston and Greenville. We manage long-term rental homes, and we take pride in being professional, communicative, and doing what we say we're going to do. About the role We're looking for an Operations Associate to help run day-to-day property operations for our Charleston portfolio. You'll coordinate maintenance, property turns, inspections, and new property onboarding, keeping work moving from the first call to documented completion. This is a coordinator role, not an in-house handyman position. Being handy is a plus but not required. It's a good fit for someone who likes a mix of desk time and time out at properties, stays organized, and doesn't wait to be told what's next. What you'll do Maintenance coordination: Receive and triage work orders, dispatch vendors, track progress, and follow up until the job is done and documented. Escalate anything that needs approval or specialized expertise.
Property turns:
Build the scope and schedule between residents, coordinate vendors, check progress on site, and confirm each home is ready to re-rent.
Inspections:
Complete move-in, move-out, renewal, annual, and drive-by inspections with clear photos and notes.
New property onboarding:
Inspect and photograph newly managed homes, document their condition, check locks and smoke detectors, and coordinate any needed work before leasing.
Listing prep:
Take marketing photos, make sure showing access works, and help prepare rental listings.
Vendor management:
Schedule vendors, review quality and reliability, and submit accurate bill requests with supporting documentation.
Seasonal showings:
During busy leasing periods, confirm appointments and give professional in-person tours to prospective residents.
Team communication:
Keep our property managers, move-in coordinator, and leadership updated so owners and residents always know where things stand. What we're looking for Strong organization and follow-through. You close loops.

Clear, professional communication with residents, vendors, and teammates Comfortable splitting time between the office and properties around the Charleston area Good judgment about when to bring in a specialist or escalate Comfortable with digital tools and keeping accurate records Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Backgrounds that tend to do well here Property management assistant, leasing agent, construction or project coordinator, maintenance or service coordinator, real estate transaction coordinator, or operations coordinator. Property management experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule:
8:30 am-4:30 pm. Some evening or weekend showings during peak leasing season or for maintenance emergencies

48,000 - $60,000 / year
